AceShowbiz - Tim Dillon, a comedian who appeared in "'Joker: Folie a Deux" as an Arkham Asylum guard, has harshly criticized the movie. On "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast, he labeled it "the worst film ever made."
Despite its star power and the success of its predecessor, "Joker 2" received mostly negative reviews. It performed poorly at the box office, grossing far less than the original's $1 billion.
Dillon expressed his disappointment, suggesting that the film suffered from a lack of direction and a misguided attempt to appeal to the wrong audience. He claimed that the plot was nonexistent and that he and his colleagues on set realized the movie would be a failure.
Other critics have also echoed Dillon's sentiments. Taxi Driver writer Paul Schrader walked out of the film after a short time, deeming it unworthy of his attention. Conversely, Quentin Tarantino praised the film and Joaquin Phoenix's performance.
Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding video games, speculated that the film's true value might not be fully recognized until much later. Regardless of its reception, it appears that "Joker: Folie a Deux" has sparked a polarizing response among critics and audiences.
