AceShowbiz - Despite making history with 11 nominations at the 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyonce Knowles took the opportunity to spotlight another music icon: Linda Martell. Martell received her first-ever Grammy nomination for "Spaghetti," a collaboration with Beyoncé and Shaboozey from Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" album.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Beyonce shared an old photograph of Martell and wrote, "Congratulations to my queen Linda Martell on your nomination and your contribution to Country Music." Martell previously expressed her gratitude for Beyonce's recognition of her music, saying she was "very, very glad" to be featured on "Cowboy Carter."
As for Beyonce, she's nominated for record and song of the year and best country song with "Texas Hold 'Em", album of the year and best country album with "Cowboy Carter", best pop solo performance with "Bodyguard", best pop duo/group performance with "Levii’s Jeans" (featuring Post Malone), best melodic rap performance with "Spaghetti" (featuring Martell and Shaboozey), best country solo performance with "16 Carriages", best country duo/group performance with "II Most Wanted" (featuring Miley Cyrus) as well as best Americana performance with "Ya Ya".
Beyoncé's historic Grammy nominations include breaking out of a tie with her husband Jay-Z for the most nominations in the show's history. She is now the most-nominated artist with a total of 99 nominations. In 2023, she became the most-decorated artist with 32 Grammys, surpassing the late Sir Georg Solti's previous record of 31.
