The 'Ride wit Me' rapper and his singer girlfriend have hinted at the possibility of a Las Vegas residency, following in the footsteps of other entertainment giants in Sin City.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Nelly and singer-songwriter Ashanti may soon be bringing their musical talents to the glamorous streets of Las Vegas. When asked about the potential of a residency in the Nevada city, Nelly hinted that discussions had taken place, "That's funny that you say that. There were talks not too long ago about that very thing."
The couple, who quietly tied the knot in December 2022 after rekindling their romance, welcomed their first child together in July. Now, they seem ready to return to the stage, both expressing their love for Las Vegas.
"I'm not gonna say too much more, but hopefully everything continues the course," Nelly added. "I love Vegas, she loves Vegas. We both love Vegas for very different reasons."
If the residency comes to fruition, Nelly and Ashanti will join the ranks of entertainment icons like Adele, Britney Spears and Katy Perry, who have held successful concert series in Las Vegas.
Nelly, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday in Sin City, rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits like "Ride wit Me" and "Dilemma". Ashanti, known for her soulful vocals, released her debut album "Foolish" in 2002 and has since released six studio albums.
In recent years, Ashanti has shifted her focus to releasing standalone tracks, stating her desire to experiment with different music genres while embracing her R&B roots. Whether or not a Las Vegas residency materializes, it's clear that Nelly and Ashanti are eager to showcase their musical connection and entertain the world.
