King told TMZ that she understands Megan's decision to lie, saying, "It was the first time telling her story." She added, "I still am nuts about her. I think she's been through a lot."

King emphasized that she wanted Megan to have a platform to share her side of the story, despite the fact that she ended up lying to her. "Why she said what she said to me is really on her," she said.

Despite Megan's admission, King remains supportive of her, stating that she is "cheering her on" and is eager to see her documentary.

In the documentary, Megan also revealed that she had a romantic history with Lanez before the shooting incident. However, she maintained that their past relationship did not justify his actions.

Lanez was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan in the foot in 2020. Megan's decision to lie about her sexual history with Lanez has since been questioned, with some arguing that it could impact her credibility as a witness.

However, a source close to Lanez's criminal shooting case told TMZ that Megan testified during the trial that she had a sexual relationship with him.
