AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin apparently are ready to become parents. It has been reported that the "Heart Like Mine" hitmaker and the former police officer are avoiding booze as they have been prioritizing baby-making.

On Friday, November 1, a source shared an update on Miranda and Brendan's effort in conceiving a baby. Speaking to In Touch, the source spilled, "She loves to unwind with a beer or three and she's been known to down tequila, too. She can't do that and get pregnant at the same time."

The source went on to say, "She really wants to be a mom, but some favorite pastimes have got to go and that's the problem." The source explained, "She doesn't want booze in the house and that means her hubby, Brendan, can't drink either so they're both feeling the drought," adding, "Of course, if she does get pregnant, and they're certainly trying, she'll be the happiest mama-to-be and then all this self-sacrifice will be worth it."

The revelation came after it was reported that Miranda and Brendan have been prioritizing baby-making following their Italian getaway in August. Another insider previously told the media outlet that she is "happy now" with her husband. The insider revealed, "And he's piling on the charm, they're enjoying romantic time and rekindling the spark and having a good, sexy time with lots of lavish dinners, sightseeing and fun hotel romps."

"Baby-making is now the priority," the insider continued. About the 40-year-old three-time Grammy winner's baby plans, the insider stated, "She definitely wants to go ahead and start a family with Brendan, ideally biologically, but she's willing to go the surrogate route also."

Miranda appeared to have moved on from Brendan's PDA scandal. In June, a controversial video showing him dancing closely with a brunette woman at Casa Rosa, Miranda's Nashville bar, went viral. Another clip from the same night showed him in a deep conversation with a blonde woman who had her hands on his face. Later on, one of the women involved in the video claimed that their interaction was entirely "innocent."

Around one month after the video went viral, Miranda reunited with Brendan. On July 18, she posted a series of photos, including one featuring her husband. In August, the wedded couple went to Italy to enjoy a romantic vacation.
