AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' children have issued a new statement in support of their father, who is currently detained in Brooklyn as he awaits trial for charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Quincy, Christian, Justin, D'Lila, Jessie, and Chance took to Instagram on Tuesday morning, October 22 to share their sentiments along with a family photo.
In their post, they wrote, "The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD."
The comments section on the post was turned off to prevent further controversial discussions.
The statement follows a series of allegations made public by prospective witnesses. Diddy's legal team has pushed back, filing requests to cease extrajudicial commentary that could jeopardize public perception and the integrity of the court process. "These prospective witnesses and their lawyers have made numerous inflammatory extrajudicial statements aimed at assassinating Mr. Combs's character in the press," the filing read.
Additionally, Combs' children have condemned the "horrific conspiracy theories" surrounding their late mother, Kim Porter. Quincy Brown and Christian, Jessie, and D'Lila Combs denied the negative rumours about Porter's relationship with Combs and her sudden death in 2018.
Porter's children clarified, "We have seen so many hurtful and false rumours circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs' relationship, as well as about our mum's tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out."
They also dismissed the claims from a self-published memoir purportedly written by Porter, denouncing it as fake. "Claims that our mum wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves," they stated.
Porter's children emphasized that her death from lobar pneumonia was free of foul play and implored the public to remember their mother as "the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was," urging an end to conspiracy theories tainting her legacy.
Meanwhile, Diddy remains at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, having pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from alleged sex abuses during the '90s and early 2000s. His children, showing unwavering support, were present at his trial hearing earlier this month with his next court date set for May 2025.
