AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez does not hold a grudge on Sabrina Carpenter despite her love for Rhode Skin. Rumors floating on social media suggested that the 32-year-old singer/actress unfollowed the "Espresso" singer because of Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin), but that couldn't be further from the truth.

A TikTok user claimed that Selena stopped following Sabrina after the latter posted a photo that saw her wearing products from Hailey's beauty brand. "Selena unfollowed Sabrina Carpenter on Instagram after she posted wearing Rhode blush and lip treat, Hailey Bieber brand," the caption on the TikTok video read.

Taking the bait, Hailey's fans began blasting Selena for her alleged immature behavior. "she's so very weird. I'll defend her when ik it's right but hailey is like living her mom life and she's still obsessed. I loveee to pair my rhode blush with my rare blush," someone commented.

Many dubbed Selena "pathetic" for her alleged action, with one claiming, "That's so petty actually. Pathetic as hell." Another similarly alleged, "If that ain't pathetic loser behaviour then idk what it is."

"Pathetic Sel as usual lol," a fourth critic blasted Selena. A fifth person remarked, "This woman is 30+ and still acts like this. It is so pathetic and embarrassing. No wonder she ended up with Benny and Justin upgraded."

Another user claimed, "Lmao omg she even removed the videos she posted from Sabrina Carpenter's NY concert! Like she really is so petty." Someone else mocked her as writing, "A literal child Selena 'always the victim' Gomez."

However, it turns out that the accusation is not true. Selena never followed Sabrina on Instagram in the first place. Moreover, as PopFaction reported, the TikTok account "has been known to fake screenshots to cause social media users to lash out at Gomez, the creator of the page has also been deleting comments to keep the lie going."

Not all users, however, fell into the fake claim. Setting things straight, someone stated, "Selena Gomez has NEVER followed Sabrina, they are friends who have worked on unreleased music together as of 2024."

Another blasted Hailey's fans, "So now these hailey fans are making sht up and saying Selena unfollowed Sabrina because of Hailey while Selena literally never followed Sabrina in the first place. I wish that housewife was talented enough to give some content to her desperate fans so they can leave Selena alone."

Selena and Hailey have long been pitted against each other due to the former's history of dating Hailey's husband Justin Bieber. While Hailey and Justin recently welcomed their first child, Selena has been happily in a relationship with Benny Blanco.
