The accuser, who originally filed the lawsuit anonymously as 'Jane Roe,' submits an alleged text message from the country music star into evidence as he's accused of 'punishing' her by unveiling her name.

AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks allegedly sent a "sexually explicit" text message to his rape accuser. According to a new report, the woman, who used to work as a makeup artist for his wife Trisha Yearwood, has submitted the alleged text message into evidence.

On Tuesday, October 8, In Touch shared details of the alleged text message sent by the country singer. The woman, who filed the lawsuit anonymously as "Jane Roe," claims the entertainer not only sexually assaulted her, but sexually harassed her by sending sexually explicit texts.

In a screenshot obtained by the site, the plaintiff allegedly wrote in a redacted text featured in the lawsuit, "And that huge stick you carry! Roo-sevelt!!" Brooks allegedly replied, "I'll take that nick-name. Thank you. I love you," with laughing and heart emojis.

Brooks allegedly "used more than one cell phone, and sometimes would use different 'names' and email addresses to communicate with Ms. Roe. He would tell Ms. Roe ahead of time that it would be him sending her communications, under a different name."

In the plaintiff's filing, she also claims Brooks allegedly "encouraged Ms. Roe to speak in a sexualized manner to him" like in the text screenshot. "[Brooks] sent [Roe] sexually explicit text messages and pressured her to engage in sexting with him," the lawsuit reads.

Additionally, she claims that although Brooks thought he deleted "everything on Ms. Roe's phone," some of their alleged texts remain on her phone.

Roe claims Brooks raped her in a hotel room in 2019. "After the sexual assault and rape in Los Angeles, Brooks increased the frequency of saying his sexual fantasies about her aloud, along with physical gropings of her breasts against her will. Disgustingly, he often forced her to do this while she was styling his hair and doing his make-up," the lawsuit alleges.

On Tuesday, Brooks filed a countersuit, revealing himself as the John Doe who initiated a case in Mississippi federal court on September 13 by asking a judge to preemptively declare sexual misconduct allegations from a woman, identified then as Jane Roe, to be untrue and award him damages for emotional distress and defamation.

In the new court docs, Brooks names the woman accusing him of sexual assault. In a separate filing, Brooks denounces Roe's legal team for naming him in her California lawsuit before the Mississippi court could rule whether to allow Brooks to continue the case with a pseudonym.

Responding to Brooks' amended complaint that reveals her name, her lawyers Douglas H. Wigdor, Jeanne M. Christensen and Hayley Baker said in a statement on Tuesday, "Garth Brooks just revealed his true self. Out of spite and to punish, he publicly named a rape victim. With no legal justification, Brooks outed her because he thinks the laws don't apply to him. On behalf of our client, we will be moving for maximum sanctions against him immediately."

Wigdor also denounced Brooks' claims that he was being extorted by Roe. "He is far from the victim of a shakedown and in fact offered millions of dollars to keep this matter from becoming public," he told USA TODAY.
