AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood apparently are thinking about moving from the United States amid his legal problem. The "That's What Cowboys Do" singer, who was accused of sexual assault, and the "She's in Love with the Boy" hitmaker may relocate to Ireland.
Recently, the 62-year-old country music star revealed that his 60-year-old singer wife pushed hard for a house in the European country. He said, "Actually, [Trisha] is pushing hard for the house in Ireland."
On the reason why, Garth went on to explain, "I think this last time [in Ireland,] she just fell head over heels in love with the country. You know, we went over there and played two weekends, so we went on that stint across the country. Everyone was so sweet to her."
The revelation came weeks after Garth was accused of raping his and Trisha's former makeup artist/hairstylist. In early October, the former employee, who was identified as Jane Roe, filed a lawsuit against him. She alleged that he sexually assaulted her in a hotel room during their 2019 trip to Los Angeles.
Jane claimed that there were only her and Garth on his private jet before they arrived at a hotel, where he booked only one room with one bed for both of them. Jane further accused Garth of "openly talking about sex in front of her," including "his repeated remarks about having a threesome with his wife." She also alleged that he exposed his genitals, shared sexual fantasies with her, texted her explicit messages and physically groped her breasts.
In response, Garth submitted legal documents under the name "John Doe" in an attempt to block the former makeup artist's impending suit. He denied the accusations, writing, "For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars. It has been like having a loaded gun waved in my face."
Meanwhile, Trisha reportedly was heartbroken by Garth's alleged infidelity. "It's heartbreaking for Trisha," a source spilled, adding that she "never expected this." Despite their challenging time, the source noted that "she loves Garth more than anything." Furthermore, the source shared that "friends are telling [her] to stand by her man."
