AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz have called off their engagement, but their professional relationship remains strong. The exes are scheduled to star in the upcoming film "Alpha Gang", which is set to begin filming in spring 2025.
An insider told Us Weekly that the project may reignite a spark between them. "Film is their passion, so it could bring them back together," the source close to Tatum suggested.
Despite their romantic split, insiders insist that Tatum and Kravitz will be able to work together professionally. "They thrive while being on set together and will be able to get through it," they said. "Both of them are very professional and there is no bad blood between them."
Kravitz, 35, and Tatum, 44, reportedly broke up last weekend after the "She's the Man" actor proposed the year before. The pair had met in 2021 while working on Kravitz's directorial debut, "Blink Twice".
"They were looking at the long-term bigger picture and realized they may not be a good match," a source said. While there "is still love between them," the two "realized long-term that it wasn't going to work out."
After news of their breakup broke, Kravitz was spotted without her engagement ring. Meanwhile, Tatum has been sharing photos from the set of his upcoming film, "Roofman".
"Alpha Gang", an alien action flick, will also star Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Lea Seydoux and Riley Keough. The film follows a group of alien invaders who arrive on Earth in the guise of a 1950s-era biker gang.
Tatum and Kravitz previously praised each other's work on "Blink Twice", but their relationship "fizzled fast" after the press tour ended. Wedding plans, which had put pressure on them, contributed to their decision to part ways.
Kravitz, who was previously married to Karl Glusman, had expressed doubts about marriage after their split. However, her perspective shifted when she met Tatum. Nevertheless, the actress remained focused on her career, while Tatum had different priorities.
As of now, neither Kravitz nor Tatum has publicly addressed their split.
