AceShowbiz - Denzel Washington apparently didn't have a pleasant experience while attending one of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' party. According to a new report, the actor once yelled at the rap mogul during a party back in 2003.
A source revealed to Us Weekly on Wednesday, October 2 that Denzel confronted Diddy when he attended the party with his wife, Pauletta Washington. "Denzel screamed, 'You don't respect anyone,' " the insider shared.
The source, who claimed to be close with the Oscar-winning actor back in the 2000s, further noted, "He and [Pauletta] had been partying until dawn." The couple, however, allegedly "stormed out" after "they had seen something."
Diddy and Denzel seemed to be pretty close in the early 2000s as they were seen together on a number of occasions. They were snapped together at the 2001 Essence Awards, former President Barack Obama's first inauguration in 2009 and two NBA games.
Diddy's annual parties have been under scrutiny for the past few weeks after the Bad Boy Records founder was arrested in September. The "I'll Be Missing You" rapper, who is currently being held in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, is charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Per a 14-page indictment, Diddy would orchestrate "Freak Offs" which were "elaborate and produced sex performances." It was also stated that during the Freak Offs, Diddy allegedly "masturbated during, and often electronically recorded" them.
He was also accused of sex abuse over a span of 25 years, with 120 victims coming forward. Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee said that of the 120 new victims, 25 were underage when the alleged abuse happened between 1991 and as recently as this year.
The hip-hop star denied all the allegations. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail twice, meaning that he was remanded to stay at the Metropolitan Detention Center until his trial.
