AceShowbiz - Chris Brown and Lil Durk allegedly are facing a legal problem. It has been reported that the two hip-hop artists are being sued by Micah Foster over their collaborative track titled "Till the Wheels Fall Off".
On Thursday, September 19, TMZ revealed that music producer Micah filed a lawsuit against the rapper, who is also famous as Breezy, and his collaborator. According to Micah, Breezy "straight up jacked" his song titled "Wheels Fall Off".
In court documents, which were obtained by the outlet, Micah alleged that "Chris and Durk's 'Till The Wheels Fall Off' copies the chorus, hook and arrangement for his similarly-titled song 'Wheels Fall Off'." The producer accused Chris of copying his song after he "played it for Chris on a mixtape."
Micah claimed that his track "Wheels Fall Off" came out in 2019. In the meantime, Chris and Durk joined forces with singer/songwriter Capella Grey to launch "Till The Wheels Fall Off" in 2022, three years following the release of Micah's song.
In the same legal papers, Micah accused Chris of ripping off "Wheels Fall Off" for a song in his album. He insisted that he played Chris "Wheels Fall Off" when the latter was in the making of his record "Breezy", which also came out in 2022.
As the outlet noted, Micah, who claimed to have "worked with Chris a ton over the years," is taking Breezy, Durk as well as Capella to court in order to "try and get a slice of the pie." He believed that "he's owed royalties and hasn't seen a dime."
"Till The Wheels Fall Off" serves as the opener to Chris' tenth studio album "Breezy". On the song, which "starts as a solemn lament to God about the darkness in his life and as the beat switches for the verse," the spitter "raps about his come up, his hardships with love and life, and his children."
