AceShowbiz - Chet Hanks has added fuel to rumors suggesting that he is dating Kim Zolciak. The son of actor Tom Hanks gushed over his "Surreal Life" co-star for supporting his country music amid the dating speculations.

On Wednesday, September 12, the 34-year-old actor and musician made an appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in New York. At the award-giving event, he received some questions about the 46-year-old fellow reality TV star.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Chet opened up about Kim's support for his music career. He said, "She's really supportive of my country music that I'm doing, and she's been introducing me to people." He went on to praise her, "So yeah, Kim's dope. [She's] my homegirl."

During the chat, Chet also talked about a fun night out with Kim. He recalled, "Kim is cool as hell. We hung out in L.A. a couple weeks ago." About what they did, he spilled, "We had dinner and caught up," before praising her once again, "She's just really awesome."

Elsewhere in the interview, Chet discussed his experience working with Kim on "Surreal Life", which also stars Macy Gray, Ally Brooke, O.T. Genasis, Josie Canseco, Johnny Weir and Tyler Posey. He exclaimed, "It was honestly one of the best times of my life."

The former "Empire" star, whom Tom shares with actress/singer Rita Wilson, further explained, "It was so much fun. I made a bunch of great friends. There was not one bad thing about it. I loved every second of it. I had a great time doing it, and I would absolutely keep it going and do it again."

The revelation came less than one year after Chet and Kim sparked romance rumors. In October 2023, a number of sources believed that the two were dating since they were "acting flirty toward each other" during the production of their reality show, which took 2 weeks to finish.

In July 2024, Kim admitted to having "incredible moments" with Chet. "We had a lot of incredible moments throughout the season that you'll see," Kim candidly shared. "We've had some deep conversations and he's great."
