Artem Chigvintsev, star of 'Dancing with the Stars,' has reinstated his wife's name, Nikki Garcia, to his Instagram bio after removing it following his arrest on domestic violence charges.

AceShowbiz - Artem Chigvintsev, 42, has updated his Instagram bio to include a reference to his wife, Nikki Garcia, 40. The gesture comes days after the "Dancing with the Stars" pro was arrested on August 29 on accusations of corporal injury to a spouse.
Initially, Chigvintsev's bio listed only his son Matteo, his professional accomplishments, and a shoutout to Garcia had been removed. However, as of Saturday, September 7, Garcia's name has been re-added.
The arrest stemmed from an alleged altercation between Chigvintsev and Garcia, in which Garcia is said to have thrown shoes at him. According to a 911 call released by TMZ, Chigvintsev initially requested medical attention but later attempted to cancel it. Cops still showed up at their doorsteps and eventually arrested Artem after seeing injury on the other party.
Following the incident, Garcia's representative has stated that the matter is private and has requested privacy for the family. Garcia herself has not publicly addressed the arrest. Chigvintsev has not provided further comment on the situation either.
