Season 8 of the hit Netflix series is no exception, with a controversial wardrobe choice sparking the latest bout of tension.

Chrishell Stause, a central figure on "Selling Sunset," recently took to Instagram to criticize fellow cast member Nicole Young's outfit at a broker's open. Stause, who has had a rocky relationship with Young since the latter joined the show in 2022, did not mince words about her feelings toward the glittering fringe dress featuring a cape-like back that Young wore.

Stause shared a photo of the ensemble on her Instagram Stories, deliberately cropping Young's head out of the image and captioning it, "I was personally offended by this look at a broker's open." This post coincided with the premiere of season 8 on Netflix on September 6.

Stause's brutal comments came after she threatened to quit the show. She blasted Young for spreading "disgusting lie" and "SUPER damaging" rumor that co-star and fellow agent Emma Hernan, 32, had an affair with a married man.

Stause said of Young in an interview with E! News, "I think [Young has] proven the snake that she is. I tried this season to drop everything and really meant it, and it wasn't until I watched the show that I saw how conniving she could be. Because you guys haven't seen the receipts yet, but I have."

Nicole Young hasn't responded to Stause's diss, but she did not shy away from taking a dig at Stause either. She recently angered Stause after liking negative comments about her, which included anti-LGBTQIA+ statements, after she came out on the show.
