After 10 seasons, the Harry Bosch saga is coming to an end with the upcoming third season of 'Bosch: Legacy', but a new spin-off series centering on Renee Ballard is in the works.

AceShowbiz - The crime procedural "Bosch: Legacy" is set to conclude with its third and final season, airing on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee in March. The series follows retired homicide detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) as he navigates life as a private investigator.

While "Bosch: Legacy" may be coming to an end, the "Bosch" universe will continue with a new spin-off series starring Maggie Q as Renee Ballard, a cold case detective. The spin-off is expected to premiere in late 2025.

Michael Connelly, the author of the "Harry Bosch" novels and an executive producer on the show, wrote in a social media post that "Bosch: Legacy" has been "an amazing run," with Titus Welliver being "the full embodiment of Harry Bosch." Connelly also noted that the spin-off will continue the legacy of the character.

Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon MGM Studios, praised the impact of the "Bosch" universe, saying, "They are a testament to the enduring power of the storytelling universe that Michael Connelly built for the fans."

"Bosch: Legacy" also stars Mimi Rogers as defense lawyer Honey Chandler and Madison Lintz as Bosch's daughter Maddie.

The conclusion of "Bosch: Legacy" marks the end of a 10-season run for the popular character on Prime Video, but the Bosch universe will continue to evolve with the upcoming Renee Ballard spin-off series.
