Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan has become the latest addition to the cast of Netflix's upcoming 'Peaky Blinders' movie, alongside Cillian Murphy and Rebecca Ferguson.

AceShowbiz - Barry Keoghan has joined the cast of Netflix's "Peaky Blinders" movie, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. He will star opposite original cast member Cillian Murphy and Rebecca Ferguson in the film adaptation of the popular TV series.
Keoghan has garnered recent acclaim for his performances in Emerald Fennell's "Saltburn" and Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin," earning award nominations and wins.
The "Peaky Blinders" movie will serve as a continuation of the beloved series, with Murphy reprising his role as Thomas Shelby, a war veteran and gangster in early 20th century Birmingham. While specific plot details remain confidential, creator Steven Knight has penned the screenplay with Tom Harper directing.
Knight will also co-produce with Caryn Mandabach, Murphy, and Guy Heeley. Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Andrew Warren, and David Mason serve as executive producers.
"It's incredibly exciting to be reuniting with Steve and Cillian to bring the movie to audiences across the world on Netflix," Harper said. "Peaky has always been a story about family."
Production is expected to commence this year. Keoghan joins a busy schedule, having starred in recent films like "Bird" and "Masters of the Air." He is also in negotiations for the Amazon MGM adaptation of Don Winslow's "Crime 101" alongside Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.
