AceShowbiz - On "Doctor Odyssey", Joshua Jackson leads a team of medical professionals aboard the luxurious cruise ship Odyssey. The series follows Dr. Max Bankman (Jackson) as he and his small but determined team face challenging medical emergencies and interpersonal conflicts far from land.
Captain Robert Massey (Don Johnson) welcomes Max aboard, emphasizing the importance of keeping passengers safe. However, choppy waters await the team as they assist victims of various medical events, including a poolside collapse, a bedridden convulsion, and a passenger falling overboard.
The trailer reveals a guest appearance by country singer Shania Twain, who will portray Captain Massey's dance partner. The crew is later depicted bracing for a storm as the ship encounters rough seas.
The cast of "Doctor Odyssey" also includes Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale. Ryan Murphy, known for his prolific work in television, created and executive produces the series alongside Jackson and Johnson.
'Doctor Odyssey' premieres on Thursday, September 26 at 9 P.M.. ET on ABC.
