AceShowbiz - Get ready for the final album under the moniker Childish Gambino. Donald Glover is set to drop "Bando Stone & The New World" on July 19, and it's sure to be a diverse and captivating exploration of his artistry.
At a recent listening party at Manhattan's Little Island, Gambino treated a select audience to a performance of several new tracks. The album features an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Steve Lacy, Foushee, Flo Milli, Khruangbin, Amaarae, Kamasi Washington, Yeat, Jorja Smith, Chloe Bailey and even Glover's own son.
According to fans, the tracks played included the album's lead single, "Lithonia", "Survive" featuring Chloe Bailey, "Steph's Beach" featuring Steve Lacy and Foushee, "Running Away" with Foushee, "Cruisin'" featuring Yeat, "Got to Be" as well as "Place Where Love Goes".
The album is co-produced by Gambino, Max Martin, Michael Uzowuru, and Ludwig Goransson, signaling a return to the sound of Gambino's critically acclaimed 2013 album "Because The Internet". The project marks Gambino's sixth studio album and will serve as the soundtrack to his forthcoming film, which is still awaiting a release date.
In the lead-up to the album's release, Gambino has partnered with Instagram to promote "Bando Stone". He's adding fans to his Close Friends list, giving them access to exclusive teasers and content related to the project.
