AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian, co-founder of Good American, is under scrutiny from her family for her parenting choices, as seen on the latest episode of "The Kardashians". During an Aspen vacation, Khloe joined sisters Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, and Kris's boyfriend Corey Gamble for dinner. As the family discussed Kim's plans to meet Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, Khloe FaceTimed her six-year-old daughter True Thompson to say goodnight, which annoyed the family.
Khloe, wearing a furry hat, said to True, "I'm at a restaurant. You think I look funny?" This initiative to maintain a connection with her children, True and one-year-old Tatum, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, drew mixed reactions from her family members.
In a confessional, Kim expressed frustration over Khloe's interruption. "Here we go. She's just so stuck on what's going on at home that she can't have a good time," Kim said. "We don't get to do this very often anymore. It's really rare that we go on these family vacations and I just want Khloe to like enjoy the dinner, enjoy the moment, be present with us now."
As Khloe continued her call, Kris also became visibly annoyed, saying in a confessional, "Okay Khloe, I love you and I'm not going to take sides, but Kim's got a point. Get off your phone. We're right here."
Beneath the verbal exchanges were subtle tensions. "Just because you don't want to call your kids to say goodnight..." Khloe said, to which Kris responded, "I'm with my kids. We're out at dinner. Come on." Khloe defensively pointed out, "Wait, I'm supposed to be more present, but Kim hasn't looked up from her phone the entire dinner? She's scrolling Instagram… Okay, I'll be more present."
In her confessional, Khloe lamented, "This is why I don't like to leave the gates because I just feel like I get attacked every second of it, just immediately."
The scrutiny Khloe faced did not go unnoticed by fans. Social media reactions favored Khloe's maternal instincts. One post read, "There's literally no way Kim is this pressed about Khloe talking to her 6 year old." Others remarked, "Can someone please explain to me what Kim's problem is with Khloe being a present mom?" and "Why has Kim such a problem with Khloe having a routine with her kids and wanting to be with them?"
Khloe has openly expressed her commitment to spending time at home with her children, emphasizing her role as a "hands-on" mom, even revealing it took her over a year to let her nanny put True to bed. This dedication continues to stir conversations among the family and viewers alike.
New episodes of "The Kardashians" drop every Thursday at 12 A.M. ET on Hulu.
