AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is reminiscing about her initial interactions with former husband Lamar Odom. In the latest episode of "The Kardashians", Khloe opened up about Lamar's persistence in their early days, a trait that she found alluring.
"When I wouldn't give him my number, he hounded our business manager for my information," Khloe recalled. "It was a turn on, sexy... you want a little aggressiveness."
Malika Haqq, Khloe's best friend, agreed, acknowledging that it's attractive when someone is confident in their pursuit.
Khloe highlighted that Lamar's determination was one of the "good things" he did in their relationship, despite its eventual downfall. Their whirlwind romance began in 2009, leading to a quick marriage and their own television series.
However, their marriage faltered due to Lamar's alleged infidelity and drug addiction. Khloe filed for divorce in 2013, but the proceedings were delayed due to Lamar's near-fatal overdose in 2015.
Despite their ongoing divorce at the time, Khloe remained by Lamar's side until his recovery. She ultimately called off the divorce proceedings, but they later finalized their split in 2016.
Reflecting on their past, Lamar expressed regret over the demise of their marriage. "I wish I could have been more of a man," he stated in 2019. In his memoir, he elaborated that their relationship had been a time of great fulfillment, but their issues ultimately led to its collapse.
Currently, Khloe emphasizes her contentment with being single. She has stated that she is "thriving" in her own space and is not seeking a new relationship. However, she recognizes that growing up involves learning to protect oneself, a perspective that has likely been shaped by her past experiences.
