Fans of the legendary rock star have been expressing disappointment after allegedly receiving CDs with autographed inserts that appear to have been signed by an autopen machine instead of the artist himself.

AceShowbiz - After the release of Jon Bon Jovi's 16th studio album, "Forever", fans took to social media to complain about the authenticity of the autographs on signed inserts included with the CDs. Many fans expressed concerns that the signatures were generated by an autopen, noting machine-like tremors and clear starts and stops in the flow of the signatures.
Kevin Keating, the principal autograph authenticator for Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), examined the signatures and confirmed that they were indeed done by autopen. He explained that the signatures would be deemed "not authentic" by PSA.
Fans also noted that some signatures were placed on dark or blurry areas of the inserts, making them difficult to see. Some complained that the signatures were on inserts rather than the actual CD booklets.
Despite the allegations, some fans remained skeptical, sharing photos of Bon Jovi signing autographs at events. They urged the singer to address the issue and offer legitimate signatures to fans who had purchased the signed inserts under the impression that they were authentic.
According to message boards, fans who contacted the band's official website were granted refunds after expressing concerns over the signatures. However, it is unknown whether Bon Jovi was aware of the autopen practice.
The incident has raised concerns about the integrity of the autographed memorabilia market and highlighted the need for fans and collectors to be vigilant in verifying the authenticity of autographs.
