The 11-time Grammy nominee is celebrated for influencing an entire generation at the National Music Publishers' Association's Annual Meeting in Manhattan, New York.

AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey opted for quite a leggy look as she made her way into the National Music Publishers' Association's Annual Meeting, held at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan on Wednesday, June 12. The 11-time Grammy nominee, who is turning 39 next week, has a suspiciously slimmer 5ft7in frame than she had just one year earlier, sparking speculation she's hopped on the trendy Ozempic train like Kelly Clarkson, Whoopi Goldberg, Rebel Wilson and Oprah Winfrey.

At the event, Lana Del Rey nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction fashioning a black-tweed Chanel blazer into an ultra-mini-dress, exhibiting her distinctive style. Hairstylist Anna Cofone coiffed Del Rey's tidy French twist and make-up artist Etienne Ortega fully contoured her complexion and overlined her lips for the New York awards ceremony. Despite a recent unsettling encounter with stalkers in Paris, the Manhattan-born, Malibu-based singer happily posed for selfies with waiting fans.

Once safely inside the venue, the artist joined NMPA president David Israelite and her publicist Jody Gerson onstage to accept the trophy for NMPA Songwriter Icon 2024. In her acceptance speech, Del Rey shared insights into her early days in the music industry and the books that inspired her during her formative years, such as Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich". Del Rey admitted that up until her mid-20s, her "only friends were in the books" she read, expressing gratitude for the invisible council that guided her path.
