The "In The Lonely Hour 10 Year Anniversary Edition" coming out on August 2 via Capitol Records, will feature the album's original 10 songs alongside a brand new track, "Little Sailor".
This anniversary edition will not only revisit the classic hits but also introduce exclusive content for fans. Enthusiasts can look forward to a collector's edition, which will be available in two formats: four vinyl LPs or a double CD. This special compilation will include live versions of the original tracks and collaborations with legendary artists like Mary J. Blige, A$AP Rocky and John Legend.
Reflecting on this milestone, Smith expressed their gratitude on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying, "This year marks a decade since the release of my debut album. I feel so incredibly lucky to be celebrating this milestone with you. My team and I have created this beautiful anniversary edition for us all, and for the last 10 years." "In The Lonely Hour" released on June 17, 2014, quickly ascended to No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album's resonance extended to critical acclaim too, earning six Grammy nominations and clinching four awards, including Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year for "Stay with Me" and Record of the Year for the Darkchild remix of "Stay with Me".
