The model/TV personality, who shares Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esi, 16 months, and Wren, 11 months, with husband John Legend, discusses what it's like raising kids in the world of social media at Aura’s inaugural Digital Parenthood Summit.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen won't let her children use social media anytime soon. When attending Aura's inaugural Digital Parenthood Summit on Tuesday, June 4, the model declared that her four kids won't join in until "after high school."

When sitting down with DreamWorks founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, the 38-year-old said she gives her children Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esi, 16 months, and Wren, 11 months, timeframe for iPad usage. "There's a tight timeframe. Maybe an hour on the weekend," she shared.

Of the limitation, Chrissy admitted that she fears her kids will be exposed to inappropriate ads while watching YouTube videos. "Who am I going to call [to complain]?" the wife of John Legend asked. "It makes me very uncomfortable."

The TV personality went on to note that there should "absolutely" be regulation on the ads children are given on the site. "Unless there are more rules and regulations in place, I would prefer for them not to be on social," she said. "I want them to be safe and happy and flourishing as kids."

Despite being strict with her kids, Chrissy herself loves to share her family life online. "I do share them a lot," she explained, "because, in so much of my life, I feel like people don't understand me."

"But being a mom is where a lot of people understand me," the cookbook author further elaborated. "I love getting to have this community online here to get to share the ups and downs and people get to see it all."

Chrissy and John often documented their family outings on Instagram. Despite travling, the couple have also been involved in hosting special events. Last month, they organized a "Mad Hatter"-themed tea party for Mother's Day, where parents and children enjoyed treats, activities and personalized beverages. The event showcased Chrissy's cookbook recipes and provided a festive atmosphere for families to celebrate.
