The 'No Role Modelz' rapper receives supportive messages from many after several X users claim that he is experiencing a 'fall off' following his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

AceShowbiz - J. Cole has had social media users come to his defense following backlash on his new collaboration. The "No Role Modelz" rapper was defended against critics of his verses on "Grippy", which he created with Cash Cobain.

On Friday, May 23, the 39-year-old hip-hop artist became a hot topic on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many X users voiced their thoughts on his verses on "Grippy", his collaborative track with Cash.

One in particular wrote, "1. I'ma need to hear how he delivers these lines with the flow and s**t, cause u can ss many lyrics and they look bad on paper. 2. He's on topic stop overreacting." Another penned, "[Kendrick Lamar] fans must be the most boring people in all humanity. Not every single song has to be rapping the Di Vinci Code in reverse with Mozart's Symphony #40 in the background."

In the meantime, a third asked, "I haven't heard the song yet but i figure his flow is absolutely on point and also the song is called grippy so he's on topic. I don't see issues with the lyrics specifically. u want him to go into crazy detail bout sum p***y bruh?" A fourt noted, "Cole has always been like this. That's one guy i can tell you definitely never hired a ghostwriter bc his bars are DOODOO."

The comments came after many believed that Cole is experiencing a "fall off" following his feud with Kendrick. They did not hesitate to criticize his lyrics on "Grippy", with one stating, "Cole what happened in those two days after you dropped 7 minute drill dawg you did not need to take 'the fall off' like that."

On the song, which was released earlier on Firday, Cole raps, "She thinkin' it hip, she a hippie/ And she thinkin' of lips, she gon' lick me/ And she sendin' a flick when she hit me/ With a kissin' emoji, she miss me/ When she see me, she say she gon' strip me."

"She gon' chew on the stick like it's Wrigleys/ Mm, yеah, believe it or not likе Ripley's/ She said she was gay until I slayed, now she's strictly/ As soon as she page, I'm on the way, and I be showin' up quickly/ On the highway, I'm goin' a hundred-and-fifty," he adds.
