AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has handled a question about rumors of her marital issues with Ben Affleck with grace. The singer/actress managed to keep her cool when she got the unexpected question at a press conference for her new movie "Atlas" in Mexico.
At the event which took place on Wednesday, May 22, the 54-year-old leaned in to listen to a reporter's question attentively. The reporter asked the "Marry Me" star to address her "situation" with the Oscar winner.
"Ben Affleck is real, these rumors? Is this true? Is this true with this situation?" the reporter was heard asking in a clip taken at the event. Unfazed by the question, she smiled as she cheekily answered, "You know better than that."
One of her fellow panelists quickly came to J.Lo's defense and scolded the question as saying, "C'mon, don't come in here with that, please." Seemingly grateful for the support, the actress then gently touched the man who was sitting next to her in a friendly manner.
J.Lo has been making solo appearances at public events to promote the Netflix film amid the split rumors. Meanwhile, her husband Ben is busy filming his new movie. He has reportedly moved out of their marital home in Los Angeles and is currently living in a $100K-per-month rental mansion in Brentwood, just two blocks away from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
On Tuesday, while J.Lo attended the premiere of "Atlas" in Mexico, Ben stepped out for a group dinner in Santa Monica. He was spotted wearing his wedding ring when leaving Giorgio Baldi. "He was in a great mood," a source tells PEOPLE of his outing. "He seemed very relaxed and happy. Everyone chatted and seemed to enjoy."
Despite their rocky marriage, the pair reportedly have not plans to separate just yet. The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022 following their second engagement, 20 years after the first proposal.
