AceShowbiz - Bono and his wife of more than 40 years, Ali Hewson, started dating in high school at Mount Temple Comprehensive School. The two got married in August 1982, sharing four children, daughters Jordan and Eve as well as sons Elijah and John.
"He was my first real boyfriend," Ali told The Telegraph in 2008. "It was 1976 that we got together - the same year that the band formed. I saw their first gig in our school gym."
