AceShowbiz - Michael Strahan shared updates on his daughter Isabella amid her brain tumor battle. In a new episode of "Good Morning America", the 52-year-old co-anchor hailed his daughter who just started chemotherapy.

"The last three days have been a little rough because she had a fever that kind of comes and goes," Michael told fellow anchors Robin Roberts (II) and George Stephanopoulos. "I had to take her to the hospital and thought she'd come home a few hours later. … It's been three days, but hopefully she'll be home today."

Michael noted that his 19-year-old daughter has been dealing with the symptoms of chemo, but it was "expected." The TV host admitted, "It is tough to see her go through it, but I know she's a tough young lady and she's going to make it through it."

He additionally said documenting Isabella's journey on her YouTube channel was helpful not only for Isabella, but also other people. "I think, for her, so many people have reached out and said, 'I'm glad you're doing this,' 'Thank you for doing this,' 'This has really helped us,' and all that support that she is getting from people she doesn't know, on top of people that she does know, has kept her in a very positive space," he explained. "So thank you to everybody."

In one of her videos, Isabella detailed her first round of chemotherapy. "My first round of chemo experience was one of the worst things I've done ever in my entire life. Oh my God," she shared while opening Valentine's Day gifts and letters from patients at the MSK Cancer Center. "I feel like people made it look so much easier."

"The first week in the hospital was horrible. It actually wasn't horrible until it got horrible. It just felt weird getting chemo. I don't know, you don't really think you're gonna get poison put through your body," she continued in the video, which was posted on Wednesday, February 21.

Isabella added that following the chemo, her body has been in excruciating pain. "One was like two days before I went to the ER when my head hurt so bad. Two was after my surgery when my head hurt so bad. Three is this jaw pain," she divulged. "I've never gotten a root canal but it felt like someone had just ripped every single one of my teeth out and just set it back in my mouth with no medicine. My gums, my teeth, my jaw, my tongue. There were tears over this jaw pain. That was for three days."
