When being interviewed after her first Grammy win for Best African Music Performance, the 22-year-old star jokes, 'Anyone I'm seen with I'm dating that person.'

AceShowbiz - Tyla has broken her silence following Chris Brown dating rumors. The South African singer addressed her relationship status at the 2024 Grammy Awards after she was photographed together with the 34-year-old R&B star.
On Sunday, February 4, the 22-year-old rising star was interviewed by Hollywood Unlooked's Jason Lee after winning her first Grammy for Best African Music Performance in the pre-televised event. Asked if she's dating anyone right one, she declared she's "very single."
Jason then asked her recent dating rumors without naming Breezy. "Anyone I'm seen with I'm dating that person," she joked before adding, "I don't know why but I'm very single."
During the interview, Tyla was also asked if she felt different after winning her first Grammy award. "I'm feeling like a Grammy winner right now," she proudly said.
The "Water" songstress, however, admitted that her journey to the Grammy Awards wasn't an easy one. "It was hectic. I won't lie," she shared. "I changed my hair like five times. It's a lot, but I'm happy. So happy."
Tyla was awarded the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance at the 66th annual ceremony which took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. She won the award for her 2023 single "Water". She said in her acceptance speech, "I never thought I'd say I won a Grammy at 22 years old. Thank you to the Recording Academy for this category. It's so important."
As for her dating rumors, Tyla was said to be seeing Chris after they were spotted together at her birthday party on Tuesday, January 30. In a photo and video that circulated online, the "Beautiful People" crooner and the "Overdue" songstress were seen posing together.
Media Take Out later reported that the twosome has spending time together on a regular basis, though they are not officially dating or in a committed relationship yet. One of Chris' friends allegedly told the outlet that the pair are "kicking it" and seeing where things go.
