AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has reportedly set his eyes on a much younger artist. Word on the street is the 34-year-old R&B star has developed romantic interest in South African singer/songwriter Tyla, who is only 22 years old.
According to a new report by Media Take Out, the twosome has spending time together on a regular basis, though they are not officially dating or in a committed relationship yet. One of Chris' friends allegedly tells the outlet that the pair are "kicking it" and seeing where things go.
The dating rumor surfaced after Chris and Tyla were spotted together at her recent birthday party. The "Water" singer, who was born and raised in Johannesburg, celebrated her birthday with a party on Tuesday, January 30.
In a photo and video that circulated online, the "Beautiful People" crooner and the "Overdue" songstress were seen posing together. While neither of them has responded to the dating rumors, some people have weighed in on the potential pairing.
One person who shipped them commented on the footage, "Chris and Tyla fine fine." On the contrary, another told the "Kiss Kiss" crooner, "CHRIS BROWN, GET AWAY FROM TYLA."
Mistakenly thinking that Chris was older than his actual age, a third person found the two artists' interaction weird. "Again why are men in their 40s hanging out with girls in their 20s," the said X/Twitter user said. Another remarked, "If they weren't famous it would be seen as a bit creepy."
Some others were distracted by Chris and Tyla's pose in the picture as they looked awkward and Breezy looked distraught. "He looks like he's on that s**t," one person commented.
