The record producer disses Drake and 21 Savage's joint album when responding to a tweet stating that 'Heroes and Villains' is 1.3 billion streams ahead of 'Her Loss'.

AceShowbiz - Metro Boomin was disappointed to see Drake and 21 Savage's "Her Loss" win many awards over his "Heroes & Villains" album. Taking to social media, the record producer expressed his frustration over the matter.

The 30-year-old got things off his chest via X (formerly Twitter. On Saturday, December 2, he replied to a tweet from HipHopAllDayy, which stated that "Heroes & Villains" is 1.3 billion streams ahead of "Her Loss".

In his message, Metro penned, "Yet Her Loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V." He added in a since-deleted post, "Proof that awards shows are just politics and not for me. [I don't care] about awards honestly, the true award and reward is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to peoples everyday lives."

Drake has seemingly caught wind of the diss. On Sunday, he shared on Instagram Story a screenshot of Jay-Z's lyrics on "Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)", which read, "Damn. little mans, I'm just tryin' to do me/If the record’s two mil, I'm just tryin' to move three."

Metro released "Heroes & Villain" in December 2022. Thhe project follows his debut solo album, "Not All Heroes Wear Capes", which was released in 2018. It consists of 15 songs in total, including "Raindrops" ft. Travis Scott (II).

Other artists who appear on the set are Future, John Legend, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, Young Thug, The Weeknd, Young Nudy as well as Mustafa the Poet. A$AP Rocky, Takeoff and Gunna are also featured in the album.
