There are talks in the town that the 'Space Cowboy' hitmaker and her poet boyfriend have called it quits 'for at least a month' as they have stopped following each other on social media.

AceShowbiz - Kacey Musgraves may be spending the holidays as a newly single. The country music star has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend Cole Schafer for quite some time after dating for more than two years.

According to Page Six, sources say the relationship has been over "for at least a month." The split rumors first spread in Nashville, Tennessee, where the former couple resides. Fueling the breakup reports, they have even stopped following each other on Instagram.

Neither Kacey nor Cole has publicly addressed their current relationship status. Meanwhile, the poet has just shared his poem about how things are quickly passing by. "The art is fast. The money is fast. The luck is fast. The love is fast. Everything is fast," so reads part of the poem.

Cole Schafer posted his poem amid Kacey Musgraves split rumors.

Kacey and Cole confirmed their romance in June 2021, several days after they were spotted hugging and holding hands in New York City. They made their relationship Instagram official by sharing a black-and-white sweet snap of a Polaroid. In the photo, he was smiling as the Grammy winner, who was sitting on his lap, planted a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm trying like hell not to write about her," the founder of copywriting agency Honey Copy captioned his post. The "Space Cowboy" singer then reposted the loving snap on her own Instagram Story.

Just three months before the split news, Cole surprised Kacey with a birthday trip featuring her friends in "ridiculous disguises." In August, the poet secretly invited the "Merry Go Round" hitmaker's closet friends to join their trip to Chicago.

The fun moment was documented by Kacey in photos and video shared via her Story. In the pictures, her friends could be seen arriving in their "ridiculous disguises" at the airport. "When your man surprises you with a birthday trip and then you go to the airport and all your friends were in on it too and pop out with ridiculous disguises," she wrote alongside the video, adding that the surprise made her "cuss loudly in the airport."

Kacey was previously married to fellow singer Ruston Kelly for two years. The "Slow Burn" singer settled her divorce with her ex-husband in September 2020 after announcing their split in July 2020.
