'Ballad of a Badman' appears on Tory's 2021 album, 'Alone at Prom' and the emcee first teased the track in February of that year by sharing in a now-deleted Instagram story of him and his mixer working on the song.

AceShowbiz - Tory Lanez keeps treating fans to a new offering despite remaining behind bars. On Monday, November 27, the incarcerated rapper unleashed an '80s-inspired music video for "Ballad of a Badman".

The clip begins with a female high school student listening to Tory's song while doing a sketch in a classroom. It then cuts to a prom, where the Canadian artist entertains fellow students by performing onstage. However, at the end of the video, it's unraveled that the whole scene was just merely the girl's imagination.

"You have to leave, just stay for a while/ The longer you stay, the better the time/ You listen to your friends, they lie/ I don't mind, I don't mind," Tory sings. "Feelings get caught up in the mind/ A shooting star pass by my eye/ When I don't know just what to do/ She won't blow my high."

"Don't you stop turning me on/ I wanna feel like this all night long," the 31-year-old continues in the chorus. "Don't you stop turning me on/ I wanna feel like this all night long/ (Turnin' me on)/ (All night long)."
