The former 'Vanderpump Rules' star emotionally recalls receiving 'bad news' about miscarriage while attempting to conceive her first child with her boyfriend Luke Brodericks.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Doute revealed that she is "hopeful" to have a healthy next pregnancy. On her "Sex, Love and What Else Matters" podcast, the former "Vanderpump Rules" star talked about her "terrifying" miscarriage.

In the Sunday, November 26 episode of the podcast, the 40-year-old reality TV star and her boyfriend Luke Brodericks voiced their hope after experiencing an "unfortunate" miscarriage while attempting to conceive their first child. "We're very hopeful to have a very healthy pregnancy the next time around," she said.

During the conversation, Kristen recalled getting excited after finding out that she was pregnant. She emotionally explained, "It was very wild to me that you can find out that you're pregnant, you don't really know how far along you are. So, weeks and weeks and weeks later you're supposed to sit with yourself in your body and hope you can take care of this growing baby as best you can and have no clue about what to do."

Kristen later stated that she and Luke received "bad news" and found out that they had a miscarriage after several doctor appointments. Noting that there was "no embryo," Luke said, "We find out that Kristen's pregnancy is not a viable pregnancy."

Kristen further expressed, "I only feel comfortable talking about this because I know so many friends of mine have gone through this. I know so many women have been through this. So many women have been through this and it's really f**king terrifying."

"You always think, 'What's wrong, what did I do wrong? Could I have done something different?' And my doctor and my friends have told me, inside and out up and down, there's no cause," she continued. "They don't know why."

Elsewhere in the chat, Kristen shared, "The only silver lining, the fact that we've now been digesting this for the last four or five days, is that I know once Luke and I are past this, we can try again. We were very lucky and very fortunate we got pregnant so quickly."

"We were so lucky, because it could have gone a different way for me at my age," Kristen added. "I haven't gone through IVF, I haven't frozen my eggs, I haven't done anything. I just think there's something in God's plan."
