AceShowbiz - Kristen Doute, 41, and her fiance Luke Broderick, 33, are expecting a baby girl. The gender reveal was a surprise, as Doute and Broderick initially thought they were having a boy. Broderick, however, had a feeling they'd be welcoming a daughter. "Luke was made to be a girl dad," Doute said. "He's going to be the best."

The couple gathered their closest friends and family members, including "Vanderpump Rules" alum Brittany Cartwright and Zack Wickham, for the big event. A large bag filled with pink balloons was hidden from them, and when they pulled the tie, the balloons came down, revealing their baby's gender.

Doute and Broderick also shared photos from the celebration on Instagram, where they were surrounded by loved ones and a pink smoke cannon. "Baby girl on the way," Doute captioned the post.

The couple have been open about their fertility journey, with Doute revealing that they conceived their baby through IUI (intrauterine insemination). They are due in June 2025. "Our due date is in June and we are really looking forward to expanding our little family and becoming parents!" Doute previously told People.

While they have a name picked out for their daughter, they're keeping it a secret for now. As for the nursery, Doute is still deciding on the theme. "I'm still playing with the nursery theme," she said. "But regardless of gender, it was always going to be neutral with pops of our chosen accent colors; cozy and a little bit boho."
