Drew Barrymore's 'Highly Addictive Personality' Stops Her From Getting Plastic Surgery

In a new interview, the host of 'The Drew Barrymore Show' reveals that she hasn't undergone procedures to alter her body and vows to 'maintain that as long as possible.'

AceShowbiz - Drew Barrymore has no plans to go under the knife anytime soon for a specific reason. In a new interview, the host of "The Drew Barrymore Show" revealed that she hasn't undergone procedures to alter her body due to her "highly addictive personality."

Speaking to PEOPLE in the interview published on Thursday, November 16, the 48-year-old Garnier Nutrisse brand ambassador opened up about her thoughts on plastic surgery. "I haven't done anything, and I'm going to maintain that as long as possible," she began revealing.

Drew went on to note, "I have zero judgment for anyone doing anything. But I don't see myself resorting to it." She further said, "And, I look forward to seeing what I look like as a leather bag in the future!"

On the reason why, the actress explained, "I have a highly addictive personality, so I worry I'd continue to chase it, get this and that done. That scares me, just because of my own approach to things." She added, "So, I'm waiting on making any alterations."

During the chat, Drew also gave an example of an activity which she has done plenty of times due to her highly addictive personality. She admitted that she has dyed her hair until she "doesn't know her real color" anymore.

Elsewhere in the interview, Drew shared her thoughts on aging. "It means you're alive, you're living, and that's a really good thing," she pointed out. "Embracing aging is such positive, healthy messaging. Health really comes into focus more than anything when there is peril. If you have your health, then you can focus on so many other things, including beauty. But it really is the most important thing of all."

The chat came shortly after Drew added a new tattoo to her ink collection in the middle of filming "The Drew Barrymore Show". In a video released via TikTok on Wednesday, November 15, she was documented getting an "I Am Human" phrase inked on her hand.

In the footage, which also featured "Ink Master" season 15 contestant Jon Mesa and host Joel Madden, Drew could be heard saying, "I've been getting tattoos at different times of my life, ever since I was 13 years old. I think I'll be getting tattoos for the rest of my life." Drew additionally shared that the new ink was her 12th tattoo.
