AceShowbiz - "The View" co-hosts discussed the drama surrounding Joe Jonas and his ex Sophie Turner in a new episode. Airing on Thursday, November 9, the episode saw them putting the Jonas Brothers star on blast for allegedly being mad after the actress was recently pictured making out with aristocrat Peregrine Pearson.
Defending the "Game of Thrones" alum, Sara Haines said, "Since when does the ex get to decide when it's too soon?" She then pointed out that Joe was the one filing for divorce from Sophie, noting, "You exited out of this relationship!"
As for Sunny Hostin, she accused the "Cake by the Ocean" hitmaker of "jealousy and resentment" because Sophie moved on quickly. "I don't think he wanted that relationship to end," she opined. "They got married too young… They have a three-year-old and a one-year-old, so they had kids right away, and she's finding her groove right now. He filed for divorce; she didn't!"
Joy Behar echoed the sentiment, saying, "By the way, she's 28 years old now, is she supposed to join a nunnery just because she split with him? Go for it, girl, these are the wonder years." The British star is actually 27 years old.
Sophie was seen showing PDA with Peregrine Pearson in Paris on October 28. The "Dark Phoenix" actress had her arms wrapped around the 29-year-old eligible bachelor while he kissed her on the sidewalk.
According to an eyewitness, the pair were "chatting and laughing a lot" at the Gare du Nord railway station. The informant divulged, "They arrived together at the chauffeur pickup location outside of the station. It looked like they might have both come on the Eurostar from London. They stood there for a few minutes and were chatting and laughing a lot. He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss, they parted ways."
Despite the steamy session, it was said that Sophie wasn't not dating exclusively. "Sophie is open to the idea of dating again," a source told Us Weekly earlier this month. "She isn't fully committed to anybody at the moment, but she's definitely putting herself out there and keeping her options open."
