Making use of the interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA, the cast of the 'Hunger Games' prequel, including Zegler, Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer and Josh Andres Rivera, attend the special screening in Germany amid the actors' strike.

AceShowbiz - Rachel Zegler has paid tribute to Katniss Everdeen at the premiere of "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" in Berlin, Germany. The actress channeled the character played by Jennifer Lawrence in the original film series by wearing a dress that honors Katniss' moniker "The Girl on Fire".

Katniss earns the nickname "The Girl on Fire" thanks to her fiery outfits created by her designer Cinna (Lenny Kravitz). In "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" (2012), Katniss wears a wedding dress that turns into a black Mockingjay gown after it ignites at the bottom.

Seemingly to mimic Katniss' dress, Zegler donned a strapless Alexander Wang dress for the event held at Zoo Palast on Sunday, November 5. Her black gown tapers to a mermaid-fit style tail made of a striking red fabric that looks like flames.

The Lucy Gray Baird depicter happily posed together with her co-star Tom Blyth, who went all black, on the black carpet. They were also joined by other cast members, including Hunter Schafer, who wore an asymmetrical colorful dress, and Josh Andres Rivera, at the premiere.

The stars were able to step out to promote the film after it snagged a waiver amid the ongoing actors' strike. In late October, Lionsgate and SAG-AFTRA reached an agreement that allows the actors to participate in press tour and promotion for the film before it is released in theaters on November 17.

The "Hunger Games" prequel follows the events that eventually lead a young Coriolanus Snow (Blyth) on the path to becoming the tyrannical leader of Panem, including his relationship with the Hunger Games tribute Lucy Gray Baird (Zegler).

It's directed by Francis Lawrence, who helmed the last three films in the original "The Hunger Games" film series. Peter Dinklage, Viola Davis and Jason Schwartzman also star in the film, which is based on the 2020 novel "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" by Suzanne Collins.
