The Lucy Gray Baird depicter in 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' is 'beyond thankful' after Lionsgate and the actors' union reached an agreement that allows the film's cast to participate in press tour and promotion.

AceShowbiz - Rachel Zegler has a thing to celebrate ahead of the release of her new movie "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes". While success is not guaranteed just yet, the actress is just grateful that the movie has received an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA.

The agreement means a lot for the film amid the ongoing actors' strike. This means the cast, including Zegler, Tom Blyth, Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage and Hunter Schafer among others, is allowed to participate in press tour and promotion for the film before it is released in theaters on November 17.

Reacting to the news, Zegler posted her character poster on Instagram and wrote, "i am so beyond thankful to @lionsgate and @sagaftra for working so hard throughout this strike to come to an agreement, allowing us to participate in press and promotion for our film, which comes to theaters on november 17."

"lionsgate's efforts are proof that studios, big and small, can meet us in a place of fairness for their films and the people who work so hard to make them," she raved over the studio, which is considered not part of the AMPTP, hence the interim agreement.

The Golden Globe winner went on gushing about her experience working on the film, "making this movie was hands-down one of the best experiences of my life thus far. i cannot wait to share more behind-the-scenes content with you all, the fans, who make experiences like this eight million times better. there will be lots of all of my beautiful friends from the cast, as well as appreciation for our crew, which is filled with people i love so deeply. (so watch this space! there's more to come.)"

She also shared a behind-the-scenes picture of her boyfriend and co-star Josh Andres Rivera staring at a monitor on the set of the movie. "swipe for me staring at my boyfriend absolutely eating up the camera. it's our anniversary today so it only felt right to share this photo as well. i love you, honey!" she explained.

The 22-year-old continued to tease, "cannot believe i get to say this, with only a few weeks to spare, but… see you out there on our press tour!" She went on celebrating it on her Instagram Story as writing, We have an interim agreement!!! thank you @sagaftra @lionsgate."

The "Hunger Games" prequel follows the events that eventually lead a young Coriolanus Snow (Blyth) on the path to becoming the tyrannical leader of Panem, including his relationship with the Hunger Games tribute Lucy Gray Baird (Zegler). It's directed by Francis Lawrence, who helmed the last three films in the original "The Hunger Games" film series.
