In a new interview, the 'Dancing With the Stars' judge reflects on being one of the 'Material Girl' hitmaker's backup dancers during the 'Girlie Show World Tour' back in 1993.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Ann Inaba has revealed that Madonna charged her dancers $100 per minute for being late. While making an appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show", the "Dancing with the Stars" judge deemed the "Material Girl" hitmaker "very strict."

During a sit-down with host Jennifer Hudson in the Monday, October 23, episode of the TV program, the 55-year-old pro dancer reflected on being one of Madonna's backup dancers for "Girlie Show World Tour" back in 1993. "Madonna is very successful. Back in the day, she was very strict," she recalled.

Carrie went on to unveil one of Madonna's rules. "She gave us this one rule, which I'm so grateful she did. It was, for every minute you're late, you have to pay her $100 out of your paycheck," she stated.

In response, Jennifer pointed out, "I would be broke, Carrie." Carrie further explained, "Do you know what though, you know, if I had work with her I learned [about timeliness] really quickly. Yeah I'm never late, I'm always early. In fact, so much so that I waste half my day, you know, you show up so early, like, too early."

Elsewhere in the interview, Carrie recounted, "There was like [Michael Jackson], Prince and Madonna at the time. Right? I got on Madonna's tour, and I was like, 'That's all I need.' I went back to school after that. UCLA and I started studying world arts and cultures. I was like, 'I'm done, I toured with Madonna, I'm good. I'm 23, I'm retiring.' "

The revelation came a few days after Madonna got emotional while talking about surviving her health scare. On Saturday, October 21, she shared her thoughts on the matter during her "Celebration Tour" show in Antwerp, Belgium. "Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it," she said as documented in a fan video.

"So, its a f**king miracle that I'm here right now," the "Papa Don't Preach" singer continued. She additionally referred to her mother, who passed away following a battle with cancer. "My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me. She said, Girl, it's not your time to go. How lonely she must have felt laying in a hospital, knowing that she wasn't going to live. I was given another chance. So I'm very grateful for that," she stated.

Madonna then candidly shared, "I must tell you, I don't feel really well right now, but I can't complain 'cause I'm alive. Thank God for my children and all of you for your love and support, I really appreciate it."

Previously, Madonna was forced to postpone her shows due to a health issue. On June 28, her longtime manager Guy Oseary said that she "developed a serious bacterial infection which [led] to a several day stay in the ICU."
