Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, divulges that the 64-year-old singer needs to stay several days in the intensive care unit of a New York City hospital after being found unresponsive.

AceShowbiz - Madonna has been forced to postpone her world tour after being rushed to hospital. The "Material Girl" songstress was set to launch her 84-date tour in July, but the plan has been scrapped since she's being treated in ICU with a serious bacterial infection.

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, divulged that the singer needs to stay several days in the intensive care unit of a New York City hospital. Although the 64-year-old's' health is improving, she is still under medical care.

Madonna first announced her 40th anniversary "Celebration Tour" in January. The Queen of Pop was expected to kick things off on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, before making stops in more than 30 cities in North America.

Later that month, Madonna added second shows for cities like Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. She also added a third show in New York.

Meanwhile, for the European leg, Madonna was scheduled to perform at London's The O2 arena on October 14. She was then expected to move across the channel for concerts in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

When announcing the tour, she enlisted comedian Amy Schumer, actor Jack Black, rapper Lil Wayne and DJ Diplo, to help her out. "Madonna, I dare you to do a world tour and play your greatest motherf**king hits," Amy said in an Instagram clip, to which Madonna repleid, "Four decades, as in 40 years?" After asking if everyone around the table will come to the tour, she agreed, "F**k, yeah!"
