Airing on Wednesday, July 6, the new episode of the Disney+'s Marvel series garnered mixed responses from fans over its shocking ending regarding G'iah's fate.

AceShowbiz - The third episode of "Secret Invasion" featured another shocking ending. [SPOILER] Airing on Wednesday, July 6, the new episode of the Disney+'s Marvel series appeared to hint that Emilia Clarke's character G'iah isn't really dead after being shot by Gravik.

While G'iah turned back into her Skrull self after being shot, which the aliens have been doing when they die, fans started to share some theories as to why G'iah isn't really dead. First, some fans noted that there are images of Clarke from the "Secret Invasion" trailer that haven't been shown yet. However, those could be images of the human version of Clarke, and not G'iah.

Another theory says that Clarke is actually Abigal Brand from the comics. Fans also believed that G'iah is a Super Skrull that wasn't actually killed by the shot.

"marvel you better count your days for making me watch that happen to g'iah," one fan tweeted. "NUHH-UUHH, G'IAH DID NOT DIE, WHAT ABOUT THESE SCENES," one other shared their take on the matter.

"i would bet everything i have that next episode we're gonna watch this scene of g'iah becoming a super skrull before gravik shoots her. MOTHER EMILIA IS ALIVE AND WELL YOU'LL SEE #SecretInvasion," one other added.

Another fan theorized, "g'iah as a little girl and g'iah from the official still look like they're the same person meanwhile the skrull who died looks completely different." One other tweet read, "time for crazy theory, i remember reading the leaks and it said that g'iah is going to have pyrokinesis by the end of the show, and i think that g'iah might the machine that the doctor was building so that she can also have powers."

Some others were shocked by G'iah's apparent death. "FIRST THEY TAKE MARIA HILL FROM ME AND NOW G'IAH??? WHAT IN GODS NAME IS GOING ON WITH THIS SHOW I NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN CHARGE-," a fan fumed.

Someone else criticized, "i did NOT just wake up to see them kill emilia clarke on my screen again. GRAVIK YOU NASTY A** BROCCOLI I'M COMING FOR YOU NEXT."
