AceShowbiz - Young Thug made it clear that he has nothing against Saweetie. After fans assumed that he was dissing the "Best Friend" raptress on his new track "Want Me Dead", the YSL Records founder took to social media to shut down the speculation.

The diss rumors emerged due to Thugger's line on the song. "My n***a ain't even tryna hit sweetie," he raps on the track, which appeared on his newly-released album "Business Is Business".

Upon learning of the chatter, Thugger set the record straight by writing on Twitter, "Her name is Saweetie. I said sweetie. #BusinessIsBusiness." He added in a separate tweet, "Also, that song is 6 years old."

Thugger dropped "Business Is Business" on Friday, June 23. The project, which follows 2021's "Punk", consists of 15 tracks in total and has guest appearances from the likes of Drake, Future, 21 Savage, pc=Lil Gotit], Yak Gotti, Travis Scott (II), Bslime as well as Fun.'s Nate Ruess.

The album is executive produced by Metro Boomin, who teased the project on social media. On June 16, Metro posted a QR code leading to a countdown on his website with the album title and a Young Thug tag.

"Business Is Business" arrived just one week after Thugger's longtime collaborator Gunna unleashed "a Gift & a Curse". The record, which has no guest appearances from any artists, includes songs like "back at it", "back to the moon", "idk nomore", "paybach", "ca$h $hit", "fukumean", "rodeo dr", "bottom", "p angels", "born rich", "go crazy", "turned your back", "i was just thinking", "alright and "bread & butter".

Through his music, Gunna tries to convince people that he didn't snitch on Thugger in their RICO case. In fact, he shows his loyalty towards his frequent collaborator rapping on "bread & butter", "Never f**ked a n***a, always stayed solid/ Kept it real with n***as, never lied and always stay honest... Love my bro so much, I never change on 'em/ Hunna Wunna goin' do the work, bring you the damn profits."
