The elder brother of Thugger is sentenced to nine years and six months in prison after he was caught with a firearm after he took a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug's brother Unfoonk is sent back behind bars, months after taking a plea deal in the RICO case. The 34-year-old, whose real name is Quantavious Grier, was sentenced on Monday, June 5 to nine years and six months in prison after violating his probation.
The judge in Fulton County revoked Unfoonk's probation after he was charged with firearm possession by a convicted felon among other offenses. According to TMZ, judge Ural D. Glanville scolded Unfoonk during the sentencing, reminding the Atlanta rapper of their conversation in May about the strict conditions of his probation.
"The issue I find aggravating in this particular circumstance are several. You got arrested with a gun within six months of you being placed on probation," the judge said in handing down the longer sentence while Upfoonk's lawyer asked for a probation revocation of two years in prison. "All you had to do was complete your probation and do what you were supposed to do."
Unfoonk was arrested in Atlanta on May 4 for being associated with a criminal street gang to participate in illegal activity and traffic offenses in addition to the firearm possession, WSB-TV reports. At the time of his arrest, Unfoonk was parked at a BP gas station in a black Mercedes G-Wagon with a group of people around the driver's side door.
Police suspected a drug deal was taking place and when the SUV pulled away, the officers stopped it, citing a window tint violation. They noticed that the vehicle smelled like marijuana, which remains illegal in the state of Georgia, and noted a handgun in plain view inside the vehicle. "Mr. Grier advised that the gun was clean, which prompted me to believe he had knowledge of the firearm being there," an officer wrote in the affidavit.
Upfoonk was previously indicted in May 2022 along with 27 other YSL associates in the sweeping RICO case. In December, he pleaded guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property. At the time, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with two years commuted and 10 years probation.
