Thugger's older brother and fellow rapper is the fifth person in YSL to take a deal following Gunna, Lil Duke, Slimelife Shawty and YSL co-founder Walter Murphy.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug's chance to get away from charges in his RICO case is getting slimmer as more crew members have admitted guilty. His own brother Unfoonk has accepted a deal that gives him a reduced sentence.

According to court documents, Unfoonk, born Quintavis Grier, accepted a plea deal on Tuesday, December 20 after admitting guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property. He received a 12 year sentence with two years commuted to time served and 10 years probation.

Unfoonk will be prohibited from having contact with his brother and other defendants until the case is over. He must also perform 750 hours of community service, abide by a 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. curfew and cannot have a gun.

Words are the D.A. have offered plea deals to all of Thug associates but will not be offering one to the YSL Records founder because they see him as a ringleader. Reporter George Chidi tweeted, "My read here is that the DA will deal out (almost) everyone else if it means improving their chances of convicting Young Thug. The operating philosophy as described to me by an ADA is to ask 'absent this person, would this crime still happen?' If the answer is yes, cut a deal."

Unfoonk is the fifth person in YSL to take a deal. Gunna, Lil Duke, Slimelife Shawty and YSL co-founder Walter Murphy have previously also accepted plea deals. Gunna walked away from prison on December 14 after pleading guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge.

SlimeLife Shawty took the same route and entered an Alford plea to secure his release. He was sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty as a first-time offender to one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO act.

Meanwhile, Lil Duke was able to get two years of his 12-year sentence commuted after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate RICO Act. He'll get to serve the rest of the 10 years on probation in his home state of California.

As for Murphy, he received a one year jail sentence, to which he will be given time served of his ten-year sentence, of which the remaining nine will be served on supervised probation.

Following the plea deals, Thug's lawyer Brian Steel said of this client, "He's like the easy target. So, somebody gets arrested and gets in trouble and they want to deal. Law enforcement officers are all too eager to say, 'Well, tell us about Mr. Williams. Is he involved in this? What do you know about him?' "

"That's the problem with this case. It's coming from the word of people who are getting deals to say, 'Yeah, he was there or I saw him around or he gave the order or I heard from someone else. He gave the order,' " he claimed. "That's what this case is about. Oh, you're not going to hear any confession of Jeffrey Williams."

Meanwhile, Gunna's lawyer has stated that his client is not snitching and will plead the 5th if he's asked to testify. A trial for the case is scheduled to begin in January 2023.
