AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" returned with a new episode on Sunday, June 4. The new outing picked back up with the cast members' trip to Birmingham, Alabama, during which Kenya Moore threatened to call the police after Marlo Hampton and Sheree Whitfield kicked the door of her hotel room.
The ladies were upset because Kenya went to bed early after yanking them all across state lines. She was tired and wanted to get some rest of her halftime performance at the Magic City Classic football game.
Meanwhile, the ladies kept questioning why they were in Birmingham as Kenya opted to keep her performance a secret. That led to a few other side arguments with Marlo slamming a door on Monyetta Shaw-Carter. The episode also saw Kenya telling Sanya Richards-Ross to go home if she was so unhappy being in Alabama.
As if it wasn't messy enough, the trip featured Kenye suffering a health scare the next morning. As everyone swept their issues under the rug, Kenya called an ambulance after feeling "dizzy" and "having a hard time breathing." She claimed that she was "just recovering from COVID" and "feeling numbness and pain" in her left arm and felt like "something was really wrong."
Kenya was said to have a "fever of 102" and her assistant told Sheree that Kenya was going to remain in the hospital to have more tests done. However, when Marlo tried sending flowers to her room, she was told that Kenya had already checked out of the hospital. Due to her hospitalization, Kenya didn't get to do her halftime performance.
After returning to Atlanta, Sheree went and visited Kenya at her house and found out that Kenya had the flu. The two later met up with Drew Sidora, who didn't go on the cast trip, and Drew recalled her "aggressive" confrontation with Marlo from last week to them. Drew shared that she was shocked that Marlo would attack her for not asking Kandi Burruss enough questions about the shooting that recently happened at her Blaze restaurant.
