In an interview with Angie Martinez, the 'Said Sum' emcee opens up about the 'difficult times' they've faced and explains the reason why he rocks with Ari 'so tough.'

AceShowbiz - Moneybagg Yo has received more love from his fans after his candid interview with Angie Martinez. During his appearance on the "IRL" podcast to talk about his upcoming album, he came clean about cheating on his on-and-off girlfriend Ari Fletcher and the "difficult times" they've faced due to his infidelity.
"I made mistakes. I made poor decisions," Moneybagg explained in the interview. "That's why I rock with her so tough. She helped me through that situation. I look at it like I was just being a n***a and a n***a that come from Memphis...My environment, that's what I was used to. I had never been in no real relationship before to where I'm talking to her all night. I'm checking in."
"Of course, you know, I made some mistakes. You already know what I'm getting at with that," the "A Gangsta's Pain" rapper continued. "She ain't take that well. And it got crazy. It's different when you have the person call them and try to tell them everything. 'He did this. He was doing this. Did you know he do this?' That made it even worse on her."
"But I kept it G, though. 'Yea, I did that. I'm sorry. I made mistakes. That was then.' I come from a pure place when I say that," he added. "I wanna work through it and get through it and she with it. She helping me work through it. That's why I rock with her so tough."
Following the interview, fans praised Moneybagg for his honesty. "@MoneyBaggYo has elevated as a person so much although he may fall short he's human however the good out weigh the bad you can tell he's working and has changed. Love that for black man," someone reacted on Twitter.

The interview arrived after it was reported that Moneybagg and Ari might have split after she caught him cheating again. In late May, Ari allegedly "had the heart" to confront Moneybagg's alleged side chick Dede. Following the girls' supposed beef, the woman, who uses @1bigdede as her handler on Twitter, reportedly set her social media page private.
