Fans believe that the cosmetics mogul, who donned two ensembles from designer Haider Ackermann at the big fashion event, gives a subtle shout out to the 'Dune' actor.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner might not attend the 2023 Met Gala with her rumored beau Timothee Chalamet, but she seemingly always has him on her mind. Fans pointed out that her fiery red gown by Haider Ackermann for Jean Paul Gaultier could be a nod to the "Dune" actor.
For the big night on Monday, May 1, "The Kardashians" star donned the red gown featuring a dramatic train which did double duty as a contrast-colored robe. The Kylie Cosmetics founder later changed into another outfit designed by Ackermann as she opted for a waist-cinching, off-the-shoulder black gown to dance the night away.
It was believed that Jenner's decision to wear the French fashion brand, which pointed her as its new face, was her way to pay sweet tribute to Chalamet amid their alleged budding romance. The "Call Me by Your Name" star, who was absent at the charity event, has a long history with Ackermann as he wore his designs to several big events in the past.
The 27-year-old star notably wore a white satin Ackermann jacket with Rick Owens sweatpants and Converse sneakers at the 2021 Met Gala. He also turned heads in a backless red halter top while attending the 2022 Venice Film Festival. Additionally, the New Yorker could be seen sporting a particular pair of Ackermann boots on numerous occasions.
Jenner and Chalamet first sparked romance rumors earlier this year. A recent report claimed that the 25-year-old reality TV star and the "Little Women" actor "text, FaceTime or communicate in some way almost every day."
A source went on to spill, "They have a really fun and flirty exchange between them, and he makes Kylie smile. Kylie is definitely open to seeing Timothee again, but she's letting him take the lead. She enjoys being courted and feels like the more effort he puts in, the more she likes him."
However, the mom of two, who was also described as "down-to-earth," allegedly didn't feel that Chalamet "doesn't need to go super over the top" in his efforts to pursue her. "At the same time, she appreciates that he doesn't feel the need to go super over the top with grand gestures just to impress her. Despite what some people may think, Kylie really is down-to-earth and laidback. Having some tacos and just hanging out is a perfect date idea for her. She is having fun getting to know Timothee better," the informant added.
