The Daniels' 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' racks up a total of seven awards, including the coveted gong for Best Picture and Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh.

AceShowbiz - "Everything Everywhere All at Once" has come out victorious at the 95th annual Academy Awards. Leading the nominees with 11, the multiverse comedy-drama was the biggest winner at the Sunday, March 12 ceremony with 7 wins.
The Daniels' absurdist film nabbed the coveted gong for Best Picture, edging out other contenders which included "All Quiet on the Western Front", "Avatar: The Way of Water", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Elvis", "The Fabelmans", "Tar", "Top Gun: Maverick", "Triangle of Sadness" and "Women Talking".
Minutes earlier, Michelle Yeoh was announced as the winner of Best Actress for her role as Evelyn Quan Wang. "Don't let anyone tell you, you are past your prime!" she exclaimed in her speech, as she thanked her family and friends as well as the cast and crew of the movie. She is only the second woman of color to win the award.
Earlier that night, Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis won the Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress prize. It's the first Academy Award for Yeoh, Quan and Curtis, as Yeoh and Quan made history as the first two Asian actors to win in the same year.
"Everything Everywhere" took home three other awards in Best Director and Best Original Screenplay categories for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, as well as Best Film Editing for Paul Rogers.
Meanwhile, the Best Actor gong went to Brendan Fraser for his role in "The Whale". "So this is what the multiverse looks like!" he quipped on stage, thanking director Darren Aronofsky for "throwing me a creative lifeline."
The movie won another award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Another film taking multiple awards that night was "All Quiet on the Western Front", which was named Best International Feature Film in addition to winning Best Original Score, Best Production Design and Best Cinematography.
"Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio" was named Best Animated Feature Film, with "Top Gun: Maverick" winning Best Sound, "Avatar: The Way of Water" grabbing one for Best Visual Effects and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" taking home Best Costume Design.
Ruth E. Carter, who was honored for her work on the "Black Panther" sequel, made history as the first black woman to win two Oscars. She won her first Academy Award for her work in the first Black Panther film.
In her speech, she thanked the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for "recognizing this superhero that is a black woman." She then paid tribute to her mother, who died earlier in the week. "She endures, she loves, she overcomes. She is every woman in this film. She is my mother," she said.
"Naatu Naatu" from "RRR" won Best Original Song, beating out "Applause" from "Tell It Like a Woman, "Hold My Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick, "Lift Me Up" from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" as well as "This Is a Life" from "Everything Everywhere All at Once".
Meanwhile, "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Elvis" and "The Fabelmans" came home empty handed despite being hailed at previous award shows.
